Vike 11/4 oz Skirted Microjig Black Blue

Highlights Summary

• Vike Skirted Jig Heads feature a 52-strand skirt with multiple color breaks per strand for a realistic, fully dimensional appearance.
• Durable tungsten head is denser than lead, resulting in a smaller, less bulky profile.
• Polished edges and smooth machined surfaces ensure direct line contact, enhancing vibration transmission.
• Versatile and effective for a wide range of freshwater and saltwater species, including both reef and pelagic fish.
• Available in three colors and five different weights to suit various fishing techniques and target species.

Detailed Features Benefits

• Innovative Skirt Design: The 52-strand skirt uses multiple color breaks on each strand, which rotate to create the illusion of a three-dimensional lure, attracting inquisitive fish in both fresh water and estuary environments.
• High-Density Tungsten Head: Denser than lead, the tungsten head provides a compact profile and less bulk, ideal for navigating thick vegetation and reducing snags.
• Smooth Machined Surfaces: The polished edges and insert-free design allow the line to touch only smooth tungsten, maximizing sensitivity and vibration transfer.
• Versatile Rigging Options: The head can be rigged to slide freely on the leader, enabling horizontal fishing (cast and retrieve) or vertical jigging for species like Snapper, jewfish, kingfish, and pearl perch.
• Effective Action: The lure can be retrieved steadily or with speed variations to mimic the erratic motion of squid or octopus, while a stop/start retrieve with pauses lets the skirt flare and flutter, enticing larger fish.
• Multi-Species Utility: Suitable for all blue water predators and versatile enough for use with various baits (squid, octopus, pilchard) to increase attraction and protect bait from being broken off in weeds.
• Ideal for Spinnerbaits and Buzzbaits: The low head profile makes these jig heads perfect for use with Spinnerbaits and Buzzbaits.
• Customizable Rigging: Compatible with a variety of hook types, including single Long Shank Hooks, Ganged, and single/treble combinations (see Tips and Techniques for more options).
